Resumen

0In this paper, it is presented a synthesis of the Academic Research Network proposal of the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (RAI-UPEL, is Spanish). Such network is composed by 7 regional nodes or regional networks (Regional RAIs: Capital, Central, Occidental, Los Andes, Oriental, Los Llanos y Sur Fronteriza). The principles and basis that arose from the documentation support the right and duty of equitable education, territorialisation, cultural and educational integration, application of scientific, technical, cultural, sport, and humanitarian knowledge; as well as the governmental policies that promote the geo-social structure that helps a non-centralized model of production. The UPEL’s community (committed to regulate and transform the University’s curricula) agreed upon this proposal, specially the Vicerrectorado de Investigación y Postgrado (UPEL’s body in charge of conducting research in graduate programs.) It is expected that such proposal will help to response effectively to Estructura Plan-Presupuesto UPEL 2012 (a budget proposal corresponding to 2012 issued by the People’s Ministry of Higher Education-2011.)
