As a response to the need of the students of the senior year of secondary education of a Venezuelan public school (Unidad Educativa Nacional, in Spanish), a software prototype for the implementation of the English extensive reading approach was designed. This article only reflects the validation of experts of the computer software prototype; which is explained in detail in other papers. Three university lectures, considered experts on the design of teaching materials for English reading, were chosen to evaluate the above mentioned prototype. The formal evaluation was positive; elements evaluated were: color and images selection, text, and distribution of graphical and functional elements. The facts that the prototype is of a friendly use and designed accordingly for the right audience were reported by the experts. It is important to mention that the experts did not highlight any disadvantages of the prototype.
