The objective of this article is to improve the ontological approximations of the self/otherness, as well as possible articulation between the archaeology and genealogy. From a hermeneutic documental revision, some of the most relevant contributions (that from cultural and postcolonial studies have been formulated) on difference in category of the philosophical dialogue reflection with the education are analyzed. The notion of difference leads to its epistemic connotation- the application of it to different fields is the base for the debate on education. In the same way, the margin problem imposes a debate on social swirls of applied ethics, setting in an opening movement the meta-speeches and the tightness instituted between knowledge, power, and micro-politic strategies of normalization- all of which go from the bio-medical field to pedagogy, didactics, and educational methodologies.
