This investigation approaches the construction of pedagogical knowledge problem within the context of the initial professor’s formation of differential (or special) education in a public Chilean university. Initially, diverse theoretical perspectives in terms of understanding of the concept of pedagogical knowledge concept are reviewed and a reinterpretation of the same concept, but from the Morin’s Complex Thinking, is proposed; carrying out an investigation with pedagogy students. It is expected to lay out a new look of what the expert knowledge of a group of professionals regularly pointed out as the main responsible of the education quality in the Latin-American countries implies.
