MONCADA, José Alí; ARANGUREN, Jesús; LUGO, Carlos Eduardo e BLONES, Julio. Teaching training in environmental education for the sustainability of the venezuelan basins: Case: Unare river. Investigación y Postgrado [online]. 2015, vol.30, n.2, pp.13-33. ISSN 1316-0087.
We present an experience of teacher training and exchange of educational projects in the middle basin of the Unare river, in Anzoátegui state. The work was structured in five phases: detection of needs, implementation of training, monitoring and socialization of learning projects, impact assessment in the short and medium term. In the areas related to the Unare River basin, the medicinal plants and the school garden were trained, 29 teachers from the José Desiderio Trías Basic School. They developed 24 Learning Projects in which they incorporated the conceptual, procedural and attitudinal contents derived from the training. The exchange of experiences took place in educational fairs that facilitate the socialization of pedagogical practices among teachers and that allow the incorporation of family and students in the dissemination of achievements.
