BRICENO, Rosa A.; CLAVIJO ALBERTOS, José  and  DIAZ, Francisco. Parasitoids of Syllepte sp (Lepidoptera: Crambidae: Spilomelinae) in Rubus floribundus in highlands of Lara, Trujillo and Yaracuy States in Venezuela. Bioagro [online]. 2005, vol.17, n.1, pp.63-66. ISSN 1316-3361.

To contribute to the knowledge of host-parasitoid relationship of Lepidoptera in natural ecosystems, samplings of larvae of Syllepte sp. (near to imbroglialis) Dyar 1914 (Lepidoptera: Crambidae: Spilomelinae) were performed. The insect was collected attacking plants of wild blackberry (Rubus floribundus) in four localities of Lara, Trujillo and Yaracuy States in Venezuela in 2001 and 2002. In the laboratory, parasitoids of the genera Apanteles, Glyptapanteles and Meteorus (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), Eiphosoma (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) and Euplectrus (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) were obtained from the collects.
