COMESANA SANTALICES, Gloria M. LA VIOLENCIA CONTRA LAS MUJERES COMO MAL RADICAL. Revista Venezolana de Estudios de la Mujer [online]. 2006, vol.11, n.26, pp.017-044. ISSN 1316-3701.

Among human groups that suffer from violence, women stand out, since this form of violence involves both halves of the human race. We search for the cause of this violence due to its amplitude and its basis as a type of habitual right which is often defended and justified. In order to carry out this research a gender methodology was used. We present this type of violence in its true form as something evil, radical, unrefined, vulgar and unseemly, based on the arguments of eco-fenimist theologists such as Rosemary Radford Ruether and Ivone Gebara, as well as the Arendtian concepts of radical evil and evil banality, and we consider them applicable to the violence suffered by women due to the simple act of being a woman. The conclusion presents a series of concrete proposals.
