CAMACARO CUEVAS, Marbella. VOCES SOBRE LA VIOLENCIA EN LA ATENCIÓN DEL ABORTO . Revista Venezolana de Estudios de la Mujer [online]. 2006, vol.11, n.26, pp.055-070. ISSN 1316-3701.
This research focuses on the language of students (of both sexes) of Medicine in the School «Witremundo Torrealba», Faculty of Health Sciences, Aragua Section, Carabobo University. In this language we look for their experiences in the Assistantship of Obstetrics I, on abortion care. To this end we have built an analytical matrix about constructed subjectivity in these students. The approach was assumed from the qualitative standpoint, and the need is to look into the reality from the subjectivity and the participation. The representative degree of the group is measured with the Saturation Point of Knowledge according to Bertox. Focused interviews were used. The analysis of discourse permitted the gradual construction of the critical events lived on, appearing that a level of medical violence is applied to women in relation to care in reproductive health, been the situation even harder when the abortion is the point treated. Likewise, it has been discovered about abortion that many quack doctors and little-minded nurses have an attitude conditioned through a barrier of ideas, prejudices, valuations, and fears, which strains the personal and ideological standing in detriment for an ethic and responsible attitude as a professional about abortion, thus this personnel failing to set up a suitable, appropriate and decent medical care for women.
