In this article some results of an ethnographical and exploratory research will be showed, whose purpose is the playground in the elementary school at Merida. The paper is written in three parts: In the first, as an introduction, we approach theoretically the education theme, genders and plays in the playground at elementary school (3-7 year-old boys and girls). The second section describes the methodology, and the third presents an analysis made from the gender perspective, giving the results of the ethnographical approach on such infantile plays, as well as some conclusions and recommendations.
