Abstract

Gender social relations are expressed in an unequal distribution of power between men and women, creating tension and violence situations that affect mainly women. Job harassment and sexual harassment at work show the widespread gender violence in working environments. These attacks cause physical and psychological symptoms in affected women, so as harm to their economic and family situation. In this exploratory study with quantiqualitative approach, we found as a general and worrying character that the entire focus group of women participants told to have had harassment at some point in their career path.
