Based on a set of in-depth interviews, here is tracked the link between violence, power and female leadership construction, and gender discourses and emerging projects promoted by indigenous women of Guerrero. The indian women face a complex problem, because on the one hand, together with his partners, they are questioning the alleged nations cultural and ethnic homogeneity, showing also how the love to half-breed led to the exclusion of peoples and indigenous cultures; on the other hand they also discovered that recognize collective rights and autonomy of their peoples is not enough, because their regulatory systems contain good habits and bad habits, cultural elements that deserve to be defended and other that must be criticized and transformed.
