The decision that all nations should commit themselves not to discriminate on grounds of sex, ratified the international character of the struggle that should begun and spread across the planet, giving feminism a universal character. However, if one seeks to separate what on a chain of equivalents would be universal and particular, the universal part as a non-place, as an empty signifier that questions us about the specificity of our Latin American feminism; summons on what happens when a group without citizenship rights, proceeded to claim universality, ie, to be included? It should be then reconsidered, how do equivalence against the dominant hegemony starting from pluralities.
