With the theme «Feminism and Socialism in the current context», we intend to address a reflection on the contribution from the Venezuelan State and feminist practice of broad and popular movement of women, has been offered to feminist theory and gender, to its historical enrichment, in the context of a transition and construction process towards the XXI Century Socialism. All included in the period 1999 to 2009, concluding that such construction implies a radical cultural transformation, both for the Venezuelan society, in its broadest sense, so as referred to the relations of equality, parity and equity between women and men.
