Even when social and humanistic disciplines such as history, arts and sociology have theorized about the role of women in past cultures (mostly in historical societies), anthropomorphic representations by figurines, dolls, sculptures and other elements are cultural documents from the origins of humanity that tell archaeologists to the role of different genres in the past.
