Abstract

PARTENIO, Florencia. Estar en la lucha… organizar la producción: género, trabajo y vida cotidiana en fábricas autogestionadas en Argentina. Revista Venezolana de Estudios de la Mujer [online]. 2010, vol.15, n.35, pp.135-159. ISSN 1316-3701.

The recovery process took place in companies and factories where the workers were experiencing deterioration process of working conditions, processes that have multiplied since the 2001 crisis in different parts of the country. Recovery starts with the permanence of the workers is in the factory or the installation of a «camping» in front, this in order to ensure continuity of production and resume production in form self-managed. However, these changes in working hours redefined the boundaries of «productive space.» With the intention of exploring these issues, we have organized the article into three sections: the first, briefly present the characteristics of the case study, then analyze the forms assumed by the organization of work, rebuilding the participation of the workers, division of tasks and functions, and finally, reconstruct the ways in which they were blurring the boundaries of manufacturing space and the implications it had for female and male workers

Keywords : Self-Management; production; redefining boundaries.
