Research involved companies of industrial sector of Curitiba (Brazil), where proprietors and executives were interviewed, with structured questionnaire. Results indicate that interviewed people consider uncertain returns of the projects in environmental conservation. Sensitivity of consumer respect to ecological quality of products is not evident. It would be possible that destined one to make decisions in most polluting companies accepts as inevitable certain level of contamination and underestimates acceptance of "clean" products of consumers.
