SYSTEM INDICATORS FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY OF THE MUNICIPIO BAUTA, THE HAVANA, CUBA Abstracts: As main objective of this study, we intended to develop and to adapt a conceptual mark for the use and elaboration of an environmental indicators group, which allow the evaluation, pursuit of environmental political, and actions proposals, all of them conductive to strategies for sustainable development at municipal scale, having for case of study the one belongs to territory of Bauta Municipality. It was taken for this work execution, the novel methodological proposed in the ELANEM project (Euro- Latin American Network on Environmental Assessment and Monitoring), applied by a multidisciplinary team from ten universities and European investigation, as well as Latin-Americans centers into the INCO Program from the European Union. As result, was elaborated a system of indicators of Pressure, State, and Answer (PER), for each one qualities of the approached environment (Naturalness degree, source of resources, drain of residuals, support system, and activities service), based on several selection view points, as function of dependability and data existence relationships with some environmental problems, and its utility for the user. It’s obtained a quantified valuation of the environmental quality from the studied territory and identification of the main affectations of the Environment.
