This research aims at assessing the main risk for lighting in office jobs located in facilities Petroleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) in the building of the Countryside in 2006. This is a research field which allows collect data using luxometrías that took place in the jobs along the lines dictated by the standard COVENIN 2249-93 "Iluminancias in tasks and work areas." Risk assessment by lighting focuses on the conditions of the working environment where the post evaluated, considering colors, types of lighting fixtures and whether there was glare or other circumstances that suggest the existence of this type of risk. The most important conclusion of the evaluation process indicates that the illumination of jobs is inappropriate so people who work in these jobs are at risk by lighting as it does not comply with the provisions of rule COVENIN 2249 -93.
