Abstract

This study, framed within the area of e-Health, presents a tool to support the cognitive rehabilitation of patients with schizophrenia, which through the personalization of therapies try to reinstate the patient in a safe, productive and independent in their activities daily. It is based on the theory of adaptive hypermedia systems, to deliver personalized therapy in which the level of complexity of the rehabilitation exercises adjusts to the signs of progress of the patient. The methodology used in the study is framed in improving processes and covers various steps that have allowed the incorporation of new technologies in the health sector, creating a support tool in the treatment of neuropsychological rehabilitation of people with cognitive impairment. This development has created a repository of data, covering the patient's progress which will provide significant clinical validation of tests in different clinical settings, as well as cognitive research to help fight this disease.
