ENELBAR, as one of its main objects, provides technical support to state´s institutions, in order to guarantee their technical development. This work presents two studies of Grounding System, developed by the company at the Antonio María Pineda Central Hospital. One consists of the Grounding System evaluation at the current installation area of X-ray and Tomography equipments, as well as transformers, using a noises tester and the 62% method, which allows to determine the resistance of the Grounding System with great precision, in order to verify its value and correspondence with normalized levels. The other study determines the soil resistivity (p) of the Magnetic Resonance equipment area, using a noises tester and Wenner method. Both studies were performed to formulate recommendations for the design of an adequate Grounding System ensuring correct performance of protections and magnetic compatibility.
