The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have been instrumental in the implementation of electronic government (E-Government), considered among the main concerns of local government underestimated the value of information. Given its importance in today's society, this paper aims to review the role of information, its management and quality in the public services in E-Government. We review the literature on definitions, characteristics and opinions of authors with respect to the EGovernment implement. The research findings highlight the importance of addressing the information management and quality, along with the introduction of ICT in the processes involved in E-Government, which together result in a favorable service quality and the administrative efficiency of public institutions.
