Abstract

In this paper the thermal load of a building which has a centralized air conditioning system for variable flow is determined. The calculations were carried out for an entire characteristic year to define: the schedules of bigger thermal load of each room, the distribution of the earnings of heat, the curves of load thermal maxim and the behavior when applying an occupational strategy. It is presented the structure of a model based on Artificial Neural Network of the thermal load of the building and the general results of a similar modeling for each room. The models allow to substituting the load thermal simulation and make easy the energy consumption prediction. The necessary electric power is compared in the bomb for an occupation average and an occupation with occupational strategy based on using the rooms of smaller thermal load first, being appreciated a saving average of 18%.
