In this paper a methodology for recovery of oils used to lubricate mechanical parts and machine parts that are exposed to wear by friction, in order to reduce dangerous waste generation. Looking definitive to a current problem of the city of Milagro-Ecuador solutions, such as: the collection and recovery of lubricants used in industrial processes located in the city and its productive sectors and economic influence. Lubricants that are normally discarded without treatment and one control relevant to the environmental impact, causing degradation of flora and fauna in their effluents and rivers from using them as means to evacuate or delete them without previous procedures for collection, recovery and regeneration thereof. Oils and recoverable reason for this investigation are equivalent to the manufacturer's serial DTE20, specifically the Mobil DTE26.Those are used to transmit power in the manufacturing and agricultural processing industries: sugar, distillery, paper, banana and investigated the cocoa sector. The results indicate that the filtration process developed during the investigation, achieves an efficient and effective removal of metallic and organic contaminants, reusing with confidence to transmit power.
