Abstract
BARBA ORTEGA, José José; V. NINO, Ely Dannier and SARDELLA, Edson. Multiple GL parameter (κ) in a superconducting plate. uct [online]. 2016, vol.20, n.79, pp.87-91. ISSN 1316-4821.
One of the most important parameters that identify the type of superconducting material is the GL Ginzburg-Landau κ=λ⁄ξ. The critical thermodynamic fields, magnetization, critical currents and vorticity vary depending on the physical properties of the material in contact with the superconductor, its geometry and structural defects. We studied the magnetic response of an anisotropic square plate of cross section area d×d. This non-homogeneity was simulated varying κ 1D-linearly into the sample. We analyse two particular cases, the first when κ varies from one superconducting frontier type I (κ<1⁄√2), until the parallel frontier type II superconductor (κ>1⁄√2). In the other case κ varies from one type II superconducting surface until another type II superconducting surface. We found that the critical thermodynamics fields, as well as the vortex topology depend highly of the gradient chosen.
