SANCHEZ PANTALEON, Alex Javier; CRUZ CARO, Omer; ZUMAETA BARRIENTOS, Marden Rigoberto  y  AGIP PILCO, Angela. Decision making in latinoamerican familiar business: a sistematic revisión of its literature. uct [online]. 2023, vol.27, n.119, pp.63-71.  Epub 15-Mar-2024. A large number of the powerhouses of the world economy are family-owned. In Latin America, these generate a significant number of jobs and contributions to the regional economy. The decision making of these companies significantly determines their good performance and sustainability, so it is crucial to understand their causes, nature and effects. The present investigation is of a mixed approach, not experimental; Through the systematic review of literature, current production is studied in four important databases. The objective is to offer a current look at the situation of the literature on decision-making in family businesses in the Latin American context. The main results show that the current literature has a very limited field of application and that, added to this, the heterogeneity in family businesses, does not allow generalizations. It is necessary to broaden the methods and perspectives of study to address the issue.

Palabras clave : Familiar companies; decision making; business decision.
