The culture of innovation becomes a necessary practice in all companies. It is a key point of these, and through its application, it is intended to be updated in development and organizational competitiveness. The research aims to identify the culture of innovation in small Ecuadorian banana companies. The methodology used was quantitative-descriptive and correlational to determine the impact of innovation on the organizational culture. Initially, Cronbach's Alpha, which was 0.97, was applied, corresponding to the reliability of the questionnaire formulated based on 17 questions. Later, the Kaiser Meyer Olkin (KMO) test gave a result of 0.89, which allowed a factor analysis; finally, two reduced factors and the correlation of variables were obtained. In conclusion, it is asserted that in small Ecuadorian banana companies, the culture of innovation is not applied properly.
