Abstract

CORDOVA AGUILAR, Jhonny Marlon et al. Literacy pedagogical techniques to improve cognitive processes in high school students. uct [online]. 2024, vol.28, n.especial, pp.287-298.  Epub Dec 30, 2024. ISSN 1316-4821.  https://doi.org/10.47460/uct.v28ispecial.826.

In this research, pedagogical literacy techniques were designed to improve the cognitive processes of language and literature students at the secondary level, in addition, it is a quantitative work, of an applied type, with a quasi-experimental longitudinal design. The sample consisted of 52 students in the third year of secondary school. A 38-question questionnaire was applied, and a reliability of 0.806 for Cronbach's Alpha was obtained. The main results revealed that learning improved by 20%, after using the strategy, which shows that these pedagogical techniques effectively enhance students' cognitive skills. These results suggest the importance of applying innovative methodologies in language and literature teaching at the secondary level.
