The use of technologies in higher education has renewed teaching-learning in all its areas, generating a new educational era, which entails great challenges for institutions, teachers and students. For education to be effective, it is necessary to keep in mind the pedagogical aspect, which is essential at all levels of education. In this work, the use of technologies in university environments was analyzed, for which a non- experimental mixed methodology was used, with a sample of 50 teachers distributed in four public universities, being able to observe that, in all of them, technology plays a crucial role and the pedagogical aspect is reflected in each planning or activity that is carried out both in the virtual and face-to-face modality. The results showed that the universities analyzed have evolved in technological fields, managing to move from fully face-to-face classes to a virtual modality sustained in all the careers offered.
