The use of digital tools in the teaching-learning process has significantly influenced the educational field, presenting numerous advantages and possibilities for teachers and students. However, the integration of these technologies faces significant challenges, such as a lack of teacher training and unequal access to technological infrastructure, particularly in rural areas. This study, carried out at the José Mejía Lequerica Educational Unit, had a quantitative approach and a descriptive-transversal design. A survey was applied to 11 teachers to evaluate their digital competencies and perception of the impact of technologies on learning. The results indicated a moderate adoption of digital tools in classes, with a general trend towards the use of these technologies. It was concluded that there are difficulties in training and the lack of adequate technological resources limit their ability to use these tools in a constant and varied manner in the classroom.
