Abstract
AGUAYO LITARDO, Josselyn Paola et al. Gamification in education: didactic strategies to strengthen formative assessment. uct [online]. 2025, vol.29, n.especial, pp.50-59. Epub May 19, 2025. ISSN 2542-3401. https://doi.org/10.47460/uct.v29ispecial.821.
A gamification strategy evaluated in young people in basic education is presented, through an applied study, with a non-experimental approach descriptive and cross-sectional approach. The effectiveness in a group of 25 students was analyzed, and the results were contrasted with the vision and experience of a group of 14 teachers. The main findings reveal that from the student’s perspective, the strategy used enriches and generates entertaining knowledge. While from the teaching perspective, the strategy promotes and strengthens formative assessment, generating significant learning. These findings allow us to recognize that gamification strategies are useful for planning and teaching performance in formative assessment processes and, in turn, contribute significantly to improving the student's profile, which results in a useful tool for the entire educational process.
