At present, many researchers, students and university professors have the possibility to develop their writing process using new technologies. Based on this reality, this work offers a didactic proposal to develop the writing process of students, university professors participating in in-service teaching process, supported on the constructivism and in the writing as process. This proposal consists of rewriting electronic academic texts using the tools that Microsoft Office® offers and the e-mail to develop the writing process, to strengthen the multidisciplinary rewriting process and to develop the competence as text producers. In conclusion, it is essential to enable writers in learning process to experience, using new technologies, the act to write as a transitive verb, to write concrete texts, with real purposes and real audience; let them perceive themselves like writers, experiencing rewriting recursively.
