Students often describe tests as unpleasant. The effect they have over students is not uniform, but it depends on multiple variables, amongst them we find: (i) The subjects anxiety feature; (ii) The importance of the test; and (iii) Factors related to the environment. Anxiety effects can be physiologically, psychologically and emotionally focused. Cognitive-behavioural evaluation methods available to estimate the anxiety experienced by students when they have to face a quiz or a test (auto records, questionnaires ) are diverse. We developed, in accordance with this cognitive-behavioural model, a possible instructional program. We conclude with a series of bibliographical references related to the subject area.
