Resumen
ANGULO, Pedro José. Teaching math: process vs. result. Educere [online]. 2006, vol.10, n.33, pp.343-345. ISSN 1316-4910.
Teaching math is a prolonged trial of a path that is thought out during the process itself. It is a challenge, a quest, an experimental strategy to reach the reflection of the formal discourse. Its methodology does not have universal standards. However, this paper accounts for two study scenarios: engineers and mathematicians. Each one with their object of study and their way of approaching it. Beyond the barriers of a rigorous logic, teaching math requires dimensions of complementarities and multidisciplinarity that might possibly achieve the fusion of didactic forces apparently diferent but epistemologically united.
Palabras clave : mathematical education; teaching mathematics; didactics for mathematics and mathematical process versus result.
