The curricular revision that took place at the University of Carabobo in all faculties, mainly in the School of Chemical Engineering, brought to light the need to include a class, Language and Communication, that would ofer the necessary theoretical principles to improve the students’ linguistic performance in reading, oral communication and written expression; which makes up the theme of this research. Within the solution given to this need the Language and Communication course evidences the need of didactic resources and instruments that allow the validation and analysis of what it proposes. These analysis and validation processes were done taking into account the qualitative perspective with support from statistics as triangulation elements. The study is exploratory and descriptive, using the investigation-action design. The results prove the applicability of the contents taught in the class.
