IZTURIZ, Ana et al. Instructive games on social-natural risks as a learning strategy. Educere [online]. 2007, vol.11, n.36, pp.103-112. ISSN 1316-4910.
The aim of this paper was to design, apply and validate an instructive game, structured as a memory exercise with references to earthquakes, landslides, flooding, fires and social risks. The design used original figures, in color, with definitions, processes and preventive measures (before, during and after) for each adverse event. In the game application and testing, the manuals for the facilitator and the participant were written, as well as the didactic planning for the subject, pretest and post-test application, comparison and result analysis. The game was used with 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th grade students in three schools in the state of Vargas. The results indicate that after the game, and closing activity, the students achieved the proposed goals and internalized the preventative measures, as well as expressing their ideas. This methodology strategy allowed for significant leaning on behalf of the students and the training of undergraduate students from UPEL as future teachers of Education and Risk Management
