Quality is a term which meaning is determined by the context. Schools are spaces permeable by diferent views that establish the concept of education, man, society, family, knowledge, etc. Hence, quality will never be an empty or sense-lacking term. It is marked by its cultural, social, economical and political determinations. When talking about educational quality the hegemonic concept of the sociocultural in educational life will mark it meanings. At Fe y Alegría they aim for factors afecting school to ofer opportunities favoring social poorer sectors’ exclusion. This is why their educational centers are communitarian-like, with a team of teachers with great human and pedagogical vocation who teach from deeds, learning to respect one another, valuing teacher ’s effort and promoting care for infrastructure and its environment. From this amalgam of balance quality is perceived diferently
