PORTILLO PARODY, Jairo. Living along to tell: the ethnographic view. Educere [online]. 2007, vol.11, n.37, pp.217-221. ISSN 1316-4910.
I live out of the lie that moves on the territory of qualitative research and such. This investigation in situ has allowed us live along with the researcher ’s evil eye and the evil school. Seeing is believing, what else do I have eyes for? Writing is embedded in tales to relive the experience, to confirm once again that there are several roads to knowledge; to get out of some academic clothing to go back to the skin to be surprised by everyday events…happening every single day in our Venezuelan highlands. To dissent with methodological abc recipes that take charm away from the word findings (an aspiration to find, and find craving to keep looking). I am not going to disclose any more so I will not break the spell; all eyes are welcome to read, candid or malicious, devout or aseptic, benign or twisted eyes…but, specially, curious eyes. Here, photography and video come in play to beat forgetfulness. Plot twists have given us other ways to experience investigations and teacher ’s education in situ… where the community is the center of education chores
