Abstract

In the following article an argument is constructed by which the inclusion of ludicrous activities in hospitals is vital when taking care of hospitalized children. For this, first, a revision on the conceptual delimitation of game is made, to then describe the child ’s hospitalization situation, and how the game could be used in hospitals directed to favor children development, its modalities, toys characteristics and personnel in charge of organizing and supervising the game in the hospital. The article concludes by stating that there are several games and toys that can be used during hospital admission, many of them are very useful to help the child expressing itself and develop recourses that will help facing hospitalization efectively and its possible efects. Se concluye afirmando que existen diversos juegos y juguetes que se pueden utilizar durante el ingreso hospitalario, muchos de ellos resultan útiles para ayudar al niño(a) a expresarse y desarrollar recursos que le permitan un afrontamiento eficaz de la hospitalización y sus posibles efectos.
