The use of Patrimonial education is posed as an approach for the development of valuating cultural patrimony in Venezuelan Basic Education students. For that, curricular designs in this educational level and their relationship with cultural patrimony were analyzed. The result of this revision allowed indentifying contents and objectives already existing in the curriculum that allow using local cultural goods as recourses for the development of pedagogical projects. Following, a methodology was conceived for the design of pedagogical projects by teachers and students. This will allow knowing the conservation state of local cultural patrimony, planning possible conservation actions and value their importance.
