The following paper aims to provide a brief review over some of the historical references of the student movement and at the same time outline it from some practices seen in Venezuela facing the Bolivarian process. A goal that is expected to be confirmed if some ideological aspects of modern sources are kept or have changed due to different socio-economical reasons in the postmodern context.
