This research tackles the need of designing a basic national-bilingual-bicultural curriculum to guide actions in the School for Deaf People of Venezuela, in which sign language is assumed as a subject. The fundamental aim of this paper was to elaborate syllabus of Venezuelan Sign Language for deaf students in the 1st Stage of Elementary Education in which games are incorporated as a pedagogical strategy. The methodology was based in developing a feasible project. Syllabus for Venezuelan Sign Language for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students were designed including instructional games that developed different communicational purposes such as description, dialog, narrative, and exposure and argumentation in this language.
