The goal of this paper is to determine the interest focuses in environmental issues of a student simple from Caracas and Maracay’s Pedagogical Institutes, looking to elaborate didactical units for teaching environmental education at the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador, Venezuela. 464 students were polled from Caracas headquarters (n=184) and Maracay’s (n=280), during five semesters. The information was collected by a self-taken questionnaire. The main problem areas selected were: ozone layer destruction, extinction, global warming, environmental-borne diseases, poverty and flooding. From the obtained results, two didactical units are suggested that answer these interest focuses.
