Abstract

ZAMBRANO, Armando. Government plans, autonomy and conditioned university in Colombia. Educere [online]. 2008, vol.12, n.41, pp.319-328. ISSN 1316-4910.

As a result of the seminary: Politics and pedagogy in Colombia University oriented in the Higher Education MA on February 28th and 29th this year, we have revisited the government plans to show the line of thought of the elite about Colombian university. We adventured ourselves in going through some aspects of these plans to warn, following the essence of the autonomy principle, the control logic about the university. The Cordoba movement of 1918 encourages us to show positive aspects of the university we work at and, through it, we warn about the need of going back to the university’s fight and rebellion principles. Towards the ends of the text we leave an open question about warning about the obligation of revisiting Cordoba people’s ideals towards facing our university present.
