The study of the Cordoba Movement is important to be able to analyze and compare what happened in Colombian university during the time this movement was gestated and developing. Cordoba is subscribed in a different context from Colombia, but its reflections are useful to analyze the context of Colombian university. The contexts that will guide us through this approach are movement, crisis, reform, struggle and modernity. With these categories we want to think “under the limelight” of the Cordoba Movement, about the Colombian University Reform, event that took place in 1935; preceded by student movements starting during the 20’s in the last century.
