MERINO, Carlos. Latin American university and national liberation: Crossed roads?. Educere [online]. 2008, vol.12, n.41, pp.397-404. ISSN 1316-4910.
90 years after the Reformist Movement at the University of Cordoba in 1918, it seems appropriate to make and analysis of its historical approach and of other popular movements that have tried to create changes in the dominant political regimes in our region. However, in my opinion, there is not yet a level of social organization that allows a new social conformation based on social justice. I consider of interest to analyze, under the scope of new theories about social behavior, the effects that these social movement can provoke within the entire social system and their possibilities of falling into the sought social changes. The analysis of concepts as dispelling structures, fluctuations, critical mass, the intrinsically related role of order and disorder, would allow to look for an explanation to the role these movements play within the social system.
