BALL VARGAS, Manuela S y GUTIERREZ F, María E. Aesthetic of reception: When children cannot read yet. Educere [online]. 2008, vol.12, n.42, pp.439-445. ISSN 1316-4910.
In this article we reflect on a topic that covers a predominant role in the area of literature such as the aesthetic of reception. In this case in particular, we refer to the reception of literature in children, in those who cannot read conventionally. First of all, we tackle, grosso modo, from a historical perspective some aspects linked to the aesthetic of reception from the theory of its greatest representatives: Iser and Jauss. Then, we try to establish a relation between the phenomena of reception and the role that this plays in the early stage of learning how to read. Finally, we mention some considerations about the creation of ideal social contexts to take children closer to the world of literature.
