In Latin-America young people face the difficult challenge of including themselves in changing social contexts, full of restrictions and subordinated to the urgency of fast and effective adaptations that correspondently the labour market, the new socio-economical organization forms, communication technologies, and cultural life, in global and local terms demand. After the meddling of structural reforms, inspired by neoliberalism, and the failure of many of the innovation programs implemented in the education area and work training of young people in many countries of the region, it seems unavoidable debating again about how pertinent the educational insight is for individual and collective development of new generations considering the cultural plurality and current social inequality. For this reason, the following article will reflect on the integration mechanisms and socio-educational participation ways capable of strengthening social cohesion and widening social participation processes experienced by Young people.
