Up until today, technological knowledge has been diluted in the general knowledge that schools provide, and it is fundamentally acquired informally in everyday activities. Education in Technology is a knowledge that allows solving problems and satisfying needs through designing and building artifacts and processes. Besides, it allows learning scientific basis underlying the functioning of objects that are part of the immediate environment of students. Primary education has the challenge to assume the responsibility it has in this area and incorporating a new discipline in its curriculum that takes care of these topics: Education in Technology.
