This article is based on the application of a computerized game for learning the nomenclature of inorganic chemical compounds by Chemistry 1 Students in the Agronomy Engineering carrier at Lisandro Alvarado University (UCLA) when formulating and naming chemical species. The first step was an empirical investigation of the students’ skills when writing and naming inorganic chemicals which showed a low performance on their part. The second step is the evaluation of the game through an applied pilot test on the students. It was verified that the computerized game helps learning inorganic chemistry nomenclature.
