The following paper aims to fundamentally demonstrate that creative writing (text production) can be motivated by putting into practice Gianni Rodari’s (Italian author) techniques creator of The Grammar of Fantasy - Introduction to the art of inventing stories (1990). It is important to point out that after explaining the techniques of the abovementioned author, during the Children Literature course in the Integral Pre-school major, the participants of the workshop are invited to write texts freely, not aiming to trace or copy the techniques but producing texts under a simple orientation that will provide the selected technique(s) in a pressure-free environment and in a determined time. The original texts will be corrected, discussed and improved towards their subsequent final presentation. This work with the students has been a pleasant game and has been able to revolutionize pedagogical style bringing about with it a fulfilling teaching in the cognoscitive and humanistic area. Putting these techniques into practice is able through creativity which is defined as the group of methods, techniques, strategies and/or exercises that develop aptitudes and stimulate creative attitudes in people through groups.
